Single-parent program

At Mount Dora Children’s Home, we know that being a single parent can be challenging. We’re here to offer hope and assistance toward a better future for you and your children.

The Single-Parent Program is a time-limited, skill-based, outcome-oriented support program designed to provide opportunities for personal transition and transformation. Program activities focus on improving outcomes that enhance the well-being of participants as successful single parents. As such, parenting is a top priority throughout a parent’s participation in this program.

Residential services program

Our residential services for children provide a loving, nurturing environment for children in need of a stable home and family that provides opportunities for each child to learn, grow, and thrive as individuals.

Residential homes are overseen by Christian house parents who provide a positive family environment. These Christian homes are modern, well-equipped, and co-located on a 70-acre campus alongside the Mount Dora Christian Academy (pre-K-12 private, Christian school).
